NEW DELHI: In a surprise move, Microsoft on Friday announced that CEO Steve Ballmer will retire within 12 months. The company said the board of directors has already initiated the process to find a successor to Ballmer. Until a successor is found, Ballmer, a long-time confidante of Bill Gateswho co-founded the company, will continue to be the CEO.
