Motorola, which has been on a bit of a comeback spree recently with the relative success of Moto Gand Moto X, might be getting ready to launch another budget Android smartphone soon.
An unknown source related to a mobile operator has shared an image showing detailed specifications of what is said to be the next Motorola handset.
The leaked image, via Technoblog (translated), does not mention any word on the device's availability.
The image shows the proposed dual-SIM (Micro-SIM) smartphone to run on the latest Android 4.4 KitKat OS. The spec sheet also mentions the device to come with a 4.3-inch screen size, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM, 5-megapixel rear camera, 4GB inbuilt storage and a 1900mAh battery capacity. The handset's wireless network options include 2G/3G, Bluetooth, FM Radio and a feature dubbed as 'TV Digital', the function of which remains to be seen. The handset is said to target the budget customers like the existing Moto G, and looking at the relatively underpowered specifications, it definitely seems to be the case.
According to the report, the phone will come in three variants: XT1021 (single SIM), XT1022 (dual SIM) and XT1025 (dual SIM with digital TV).
Motorola is also rumoured to launch the successor to the Moto X, dubbed as the Moto X+1. In a recent leak, a list of 25 colour options for the handset was leaked. The colour options include leather finish back with black, red, grey and blue. With the Moto X, the company offered a total of 31 colour options, but did not include a leather finish back as an option.
